Yosemite: Upper Falls

Over the weekend Kevin and I decided to go to Yosemite (gotta make use of that season pass!) We decided to hike Upper Falls since we had never hiked it before. It was about 7 miles round trip which doesn't sound like much, but it was pretty steep, and we are both really sore. If you look closely in some of the pictures you will see a snow pile at the bottom of the fall. We had never seen anything like that before. For some reason we also weren't expecting to have to hike through snow at the top. So not only were we ascending but trying to steady ourselves on the snow. Wake up quadriceps!
