Kevin and I lost our dogs about a week and a half ago when they got out of our backyard and hit by a car. It has been very difficult for us as they were great dogs. Chopper (the red one) was 9 years old and a gentle giant. He was very affectionate and would sit in your lap if you would let him. Daisy, the German Shepherd was 8 and we called her the "spaz". She was very hyper and skittish...but we loved her just the same. Daisy never left Chopper's side and because of it they died together. We think that is the way they would have wanted it. We miss them very much, but were glad to have spent so many happy years together.

they are both great dogs. we'll all miss them.
